I often use Codex to generate CLI commands that I then run myself. The problem is the commands come back split across multiple lines within a larger response.
With Claude Code, /copy is smart — it lets me copy just the specific command from within the response, rather than the whole thing.
Codex’s /copy, on the other hand, copies the entire response with no option to grab just the CLI command.
Is there a workaround?
