i’ve been searching for more than half an hour and i’m ready to pull my hair out: anybody who has a pro account can ask claude on a fresh session to write a story and not search the web until it goes from 0% to 100% of the session limit (and 0% to ~10% of weekly limit) then tokenize the session, buy max 20x, do the same thing, and divide by the amount of tokens on pro. do people with the 20x plan not care to test their usage limits relative to what they pay for? it’d personally matter a ton to be if i was paying for 20x and only getting 4x or 5x the weekly limit, am i the only one? this data should be incredibly easy to come by, but anthropic doesn’t post it, nobody seems to be doing their own tests, and everybody seems to be worried about their session limits more than their weekly throughput? what’s the deal with the session limits and the concerns about them? i get 10 sessions per week on claude pro (each session from 0% to 100% fills up almost exactly 10% of my weekly limit) and then in 2 or 3 days i’ve hit the weekly limit. if my weekly limit stays the same, i don’t even know how that would help me? i’d just use up my 20x bigger session in maybe a day and hit the same weekly limit instantly. make it make sense, i’m so lost. submitted by /u/PragmaticSalesman
