I am getting a lot of commands that start with ‘sleep <n>’, where n has been between 5 and 100 seconds. Yeah, sure I get that Anthropic is trying to slow down the token burn rate, but yesterday I got a ‘sleep 500’. Come on. Now you are charging me to generate a command with sleep in front of it and you are going to make sure the 5 minute cache expires and I get to pay to write to the cache again. Besides the obvious ‘have enough capacity’, it sure would be nice if they could group several commands together, make efficient use of the cache they do have and take a nap. Or throw an item into the hopper and get it done later, in an efficient to them manner, and not ask the same ‘is this command OK’ 100 times. submitted by /u/bmayer0122
