Does anyone else feel how formulaic it is? 🤣😅 I’ve been seeing this pop up everywhere within the past year (ig captions, news articles, YouTube vids etc) and the negative parallelism is deafening. When I start to hear a YouTube video use this “it’s not A, it’s not B, it’s C” or anywhere along the lines of this, I have to turn it off. I know it’s not that serious of course but wanted to see if anyone else feels the same way. When I’m using chat / perplexity / Claude etc I have to add this prompt to whatever I’m asking “ ban all ‘not X but Y’ structures” and that usually does the trick. submitted by /u/plantbasedbrownie
