Hi! I (24F) have been sleeping with my good friend (26M) for about five months now. We’re not exclusive and we’re really not compatible for a serious relationship, but we’re very close. We both moved to Ireland within the same month from other countries and met through mutual friends. Him and I hang out outside of having sex regularly both alone and with friends, and don’t just view each other as sexual partners. My question is, do you cuddle with your fwb? I never have before, it’s always been just sex and either go to sleep or leave. But we will have sex and give each other massages and cuddles for literal hours afterwards each time. I totally get that every situation is different and there’s no set rules, but I’m wondering about other people’s experiences when sleeping with their friends? For me, cuddling creates emotional intimacy. I already cared about him as a person because he’s my friend, but all the cuddling makes me feel more connected.
