I’m 21m I only had my mom and my older sister my dad died drunk driving when I was a few months old. My mom and dad were both in early twenties when they had me and my sister both accidents my dad was in and out of jail even when my mom had me. Always a risk taker and cocky guy. I grew up only having my mom and we lived poor we luckily had EBT which helped majorly and kept us fed but we were far from rich video games were rare and I was so happy to get 20$ for anything. As someone who grew up on the more poor end I grew up with the reality that life isn’t always good I got into drugs and learned the darkest areas of life quick and it was bad I fell hard but I ended up learning a lot and changing into a strong and good man. My views are definitely not seen as great but I still am my own person and have my own morals which I believe in. How was your guys childhoods ? submitted by /u/crippinneversippin
