I have an account with GoMo, mostly used for guests so I don’t have it active all the time. Payment was by “Lastschrift” from a credit card. Eventually the credit card expired. Would they send an email notice about that ? Nope. Just the normal invoice emails, which I normally don’t review in much detail since it gets paid by Lastschrift. Finally they send a Mahnung by email on January 19, claiming that they tried to reach me. Not by email, and they could have sent a request to update the payment information when the Lastschrift failed in December. I reacted right away to make the payment (extra CHF 0.95 for instant payment, costs them the same as credit card Lastschrift) and update the credit card info. They put CHF 30 late fee on the next invoice. Customers, beware - don’t rely on automatic notifications when a payment method expires. submitted by /u/GoblinsGym
