Cli user. This happened sometime last week. I haven’t had maxed the 5 hr cap before, even with opus 4.7 1m, xhigh but since last week it has been maxed out for several times. Ive tried downgrading claude cli to 2.1.119 as suggested in one of the threads here, tried using claude cache fix (github), tried using token optimizer, but no help. Im now using it with opus 4.7 high without 1m. This still maxes out 5hr cap much faster than before. I don’t think I can max out weekly usage if they don’t balance out 5hr cap. Im planning on trying out codex, but Im a slow learner and I got so used to claude cli. I hope they fix this or at least announce this is gonna be a new standard, so that I can switch without hesitation. submitted by /u/Capable_Contest_5675
