So I’m already used to the fact that Opus 4.7 sucks, so I switched to Opus 4.6 and the way it’s been lobotomized is crazy, we’re paying for a service here and all they do is piss in your mouth. A few examples: Previously, Claude would proactively check the codebase before making changes (and before you start assuming, yes, I am a power user with a “think before code” command in global Claude.MD), right now, it’s making assumptions without reading the actual codebase, it’s fixing what’s not broken and I need to launch a senior code reviewer for regressions every single time I want to commit something. It’s also constantly launching superpowers, which is definitely not needed for small scope fixes. It’s beyond me how we’re not eligible for a refund when all we get is a hollow shell and stupid AI at the end of the month. Shouldn’t the service be consistent in quality? Furthermore, Claude is hallucinating completion times, going for quick wins only. I want it to finish a feature and its response is: this would require a big refactor and could take 2 weeks to complete, are you sure you don’t want to go with this half-assed suggestion? The people at Anthropic are constantly tossing stones under our feet with their stealth nerfs to usage limits, degradation in quality, and whatnot. Who cares about new features when they can’t get their existing ones to work properly? submitted by /u/LeyLineDisturbances
