As title says - i wanna share my personal setup I use daily since january. It’s continously evolving as new tools come in but I don’t jump on every new shiny thing. This damn whole niche is overloaded with everybody trying to gain easy github starts by putting out useless stuff so… One has to be careful. Thus I figured that some knowledge sharing might be useful between sane people who use this tool daily to cut their workday from 8 hours to about 4. I’m very happy on 100 euro plan and it fits my work and pet project needs. It got harder so I had to implement more token saving measures. Now, the biggest issue for me initially was cross-repo configuration. Serena AI helps a lot with that. You can easily link projects and let claude retrieve what it needs by using serena-hook. Pretty neat. The memories help as well so you can easily commit code style guide and such. I haven’t ever really used claude.md cuz it felt like it was ignored more often than not - feels like serena hooks fix that and my serena memories get applied - mostly. Serena helps me when I e.g. -> build api client in one repository and then use it in another -> reads the project memory, implements cleanly, works amazing and I’m happy with it cuz I can be lazy and don’t have to copy paste all the code into the context. The token savings are then supported by context-mode and rtk which both work great and save a lot of tokens. I’m currently testing claude-mem which seems to be doing something but I have it in the pipeline for just about a week so I’d have to update you on more. The last thing in my mcp/plugin lineup is context7 which has worked great always and I highly recommend the tool. Regarding skills - frontend-design is great. I don’t use much of any other apart from those I made myself for generating PRs and automatic feature dev git flows and such cuz I hate the built-ins which put claude as co-author and put in verification tasks I usually have to rewrite anyway. TL;DR:

  • I use serena ai (installing via uv for serena-hooks is must), context-mode, rtk, claude-mem, context7 for plugins/mcps
  • For skills I mostly use frontend-design and my own submitted by /u/Altruistic_Stage3893
