Hi! I know the large scale of generative AI is fucking up our planet bad, and I know other AI helps with coding and medical research. Are there other types? The reason I’m asking: I really don’t like that AI is being implemented into everything I do, and I figured it would probably be best to make it distinguishable. I’m trying really bad to find a digital planner to do list calendar that I can use, but all of the ones that seems like it’ll work best for me are “oh, yay! We got this AI-Auto scheduler to make things easier for you!” I don’t need things to be made easier… I just need it to be a simple view, and I’m starting to get really mad that it’s all AI. I’m well aware it is becoming the future, but I just cannot justify using it at all, especially because I’m under informed on its subgenres / types. But isn’t it generative AI? Like that’s one that worst. So… what are the types of AI, and which ones are used ethically? I’m really not in the mood to “just use it,” by the way, I want information.
