Hi everyone I had a situation today at Bern Train Station and wonder what I should do (if anything). During rush hour in the evening I tried to walk up the stairs at Welle 7 - as it is people come down too so one row walks up and one down. A man coming down decided to change lane (into the one where I walk up) and push through although there is no space. The woman in front of him was carrying a suitcase and I tried to already move away but then he comes as well and as it is I can’t disappear and I bump into him. I didn’t think much but then he turns around and hits my leg in the back (I have a visible bruise) I was really surprised so I also turn around and confront him to maybe wait the next time and not bump like that into other people - he just said “look where you walk” & “shut up”. He tried walking away so I followed him on the platform and told him to be more careful and not to hit random people!!! As he got more aggressive I pulled out my phone and started filming him - he immediately went after it saying “put that away” - I have it on video how he tried to either grab it or smack it out of my hands. I was fast enough to pull away - filmed him another 5 seconds or so while he was trying to hide his face. He went on the train waiting there as I also left the scene as I didn’t want to escalate the whole thing. I understand I could have called the police at the station but by the time they would have arrived he would have been gone & I felt overwhelmed and not sure what to do. My question now should I report this to the police or am I overreacting? Never had something like that happen before so I’m a little los submitted by /u/knighthood
