I ask because Claude Code seems to be badly broken so much now I start to suspect non-corporate users are being deliberately pushed away. My last role was an engineering lead in a bank. I don’t like firing people but the degree of incompetence CC with Opus 4.7 on xHigh just showed would make me consider it - even after breaking stuff and admitting it, it just moved my Linear ticket to ‘done’. That and other things - see a tech debt issue and just blithely ‘walk on by’ would just be too dangerous to have in such an environment. In human terms these things are not just a case of ‘in the wrong job’ personal development - they would suggest a fundamental lackadaisical attitude. Luckily GPT 5.5 runs rings around it - I’ve been saving conversations and having analysis done because CC is now so verbose the content is impenetrable (which is why my 5 hour limit was reached through ONE mess episode). What I also wonder is - claude.ai seems good - it actually feels an order of magnitude better which makes me suspect the harness even more. I’m intrigued to know if those with corporate accounts are seeing this too? submitted by /u/makeSenseOfTheWorld
