My girlfriend and I were joking around about my height and she was like “you’re not 6’0 you got to be 5’11” and pulled up a reference photo of her standing next to a guy who’s 6’0 and said “see you’re probably 5’11”. However, although she blurred the guys face, I could tell it was her ex, but she didn’t say it was her ex. I’m not sure if it happened to be that she chose the ex as a reference photo, or it was something deeper. I have a feeling I was being compared to her ex, but I don’t know if it’s that deep? I really want to forgive her for it but I just can’t for some reason. She’s been amazing otherwise and I feel so bad for fixating on this. submitted by /u/Different_Many_1976
