I’m in grad school and since August I developed a crush on a guy in my program. My grad program is huge and we all meet once every 1-2 weeks. I tried talking to him a few times and we had a good first conversation but then he wasn’t receptive the other times I tried talking to him after. He’s the type that keeps to himself. He’s shy and didn’t mention a GF, but I don’t know him well. I was very much not doing well in this program. I had really bad grades and the counselor would tell me to get better so I could graduate. This guy is very smart and enjoys studying, so crushing on him made me also want to study to more at his level. I found him inspiring. The semester is ending and thanks to this crush, my grades have gone up! I went from C’s to A’s. I made a TikTok sharing how an unrequited crush helped me get my degree. In the video he is completely anonymous and can’t be identified. My plan is to wait 8 months to a year to post this video. Since this video is about him, I was thinking of showing it to him. The video vibe is “how my unrequited crush saved my life…” How would you react if a girl showed you this? Would this flatter you or scare you?
