Only answers from men please. I think I recently lost a close friend of 5 years because he found out his gf and I were sexually intimate almost a decade ago and we never told him. I feel such an A-hole for never telling him and I think the friendship is irreparable because now he doesn’t trust me and doubts the validity of my cordial relationship with his GF (which is now totally platonic in every way) I posted today about my experience over on AITAH so please read here for the full context: https://www.reddit.com/r/AITAH/s/Ttx6FnFkM9 But I never told him because I was horrified of his potential reaction, which I have now seen anyway :( I’m trying to put myself in his shoes and I definitely think I would be grossed out but I don’t think it’s worth ending a friendship over. Have any men here ever been in this situation?
