Hey guys, I’m M22 and honestly… I don’t have any friends. For context, I spent the majority of my formative years chasing women and befriending lots of girls. That’s not to say I didn’t have any male friends. I had a good one in elementary school, and we played Destiny 1 together a lot, but he dropped me for whatever reason. Then in middle school, I got a couple more, but when high school came around, we all kind of formed our own little groups. In high school, I had the most friends without a doubt, more guys and more girls, maybe 12 in total. Five I would consider my best friends (guys): K, J, C, A, and G. K moved after high school, C got rich off crypto and moved to Puerto Rico, A went to college, and G went to college as well. J is the only one left, and we actually work for the same company, just not together. We’re both demanded a lot by our jobs in hospitality. So J is my only friend, and we see each other about once a month. We manage different properties and teams, so our schedules are usually busy. Plus, the shifts we cover are either 7 to 3 or 3 to 11, and we usually end up working opposite schedules. On top of that, there are employee call-outs and all the other fun stuff. So I’m looking for other friends, but I don’t know where to start. I hate going out to bars and think spending money just to have fun is ridiculous. I also live 30 minutes from downtown, so an Uber there and back is expensive. And I refuse to drive drunk. Any help, my guys? Both of my brothers made friends and created their own friend groups when Facebook was the main app. I’m just not sure what to do. submitted by /u/Negative-Accident226
