Just wrapped up my grind for the KQ head and came away thinking… why? This boss can hit me for 2/3rd of my health as a run over. Then we let the “hit, step under, chug sharks dance” begin. Peak gameplay loop. I think KQ could become way more engaging with one pretty small tweak: Overhead text indicating attacks Something simple like a “Click-Hiss-Bzzz” indicating the next 3 attacks are Range-Melee-Mage. The order could be randomized each cycle, creating a super basic memory mechanic while keeping the fight largely the same. Could be relatively low effort way to make the boss more interactive without completely redesigning it. “That would make KQ to easy, you could camp for days!”

  • Ok, lets add 0-15 chip damage for successful prayers. “This ruins the legacy of an iconic old boss!”
  • Sure, make us earn the mechanic. Add 1-3 lore drops (mandible, antenna, stinger) on a 1/20 table that we can take to an NPC at thr Varrock museum to help “study” the KQ’s behavior. Prior to that the text can be “***” and people can experience authentic 2004 suffering for a while. “It’s not that bad stop complaining”
