Hello! I am currently living in Switzerland, but my assignment in CH will come to an end. I have some money in UBS and I am wondering how to keep my bank account active after I leave. I remember in my first year, the bank sent a letter asking me to update them on my new permit. I understand that it would work if I don’t tell the bank about my departure, however, what would happen if my permit expires? Will they close my account if I can’t provide a renewed permit?
