I’ve used Claude code a fair bit - python, TypeScript, R, rust and Swift. I’ve programmed a fair bit in Ruby in the past but never used Claude to help me - it was in the Dark Ages. Usually when it is doing some background work it uses python or TypeScript. Mainly python I think but most of my work is around data processing so that makes sense. Today it just used Ruby instead.
