I work at a company that is international but also meets with customers in the USA. Routinely we will be in South Africa and dinner will run til 10pm. Other times in Latin America dinner will run later. I was recently with a customer and my wife calls me and says it’s 9pm how are you still at dinner? Can’t you just leave and go back to the hotel? Her company meetings and dinners always seem to end before 8 but mine always end up going into the night.
