Hey there, I am a 23 years old guy who already feels old enough to accomplish something significant, make my first girlfriend, make a career and so on. Not only do I feel like a failure, but I also feel that my mental capabilities vanished. Is this because I have very few friends to keep myself busy? I do not know. Feeling more responsible and reminding myself that 23 is old enough to start making real decisions is putting lots of pressure on me, especially when it feels that my peers are already ahead. What is your brutally honest advice? Trying to change many things at once doesn’t seem like a good idea, but it wouldn’t work anyway. submitted by /u/No-Plan-3868
