Personally, when I’m on a date with someone, if I think there is going to be a second date/ potential relationship I try to split the bill so that it sets a standard for the future. If it’s the case that I don’t think I’ll see the person again I’ll pay it in full as a ‘thank you’ for the date, but I’m not expecting anything more. I’m curious as to what everyone else does.
