Hey I’m 20F, a BTech CSE student, and I know there are a lot of developers here. But realistically, most people are NOT making “fuck-you money.” And by “fuck-you money” I don’t mean mansions or boats 😭 For me it means being able to buy things without checking prices first. Even something as small as coffee. I hate constantly thinking before spending money. I want to be able to spoil myself sometimes and actually enjoy life. Because what’s the point of making money if you still can’t live comfortably? I also don’t want replies saying:
- “start an OF”
- “become an influencer/content creator” because I genuinely do not see myself doing those things. I want actual advice from people who became financially comfortable young. What realistically helped you the most? Freelancing? Remote jobs? Business? Investing? Networking? Leaving India? Something else? And please be honest. Is financial freedom in your 20s actually possible now or is social media making it look easier than it is? submitted by /u/Artistic-Impress-357
