I recently upgraded to the max subscription because I was hitting limits using pro. I’m not complaining, it’s completely my fault because I’m just using it more and more. Now that I’m getting more proficient though I’ve noticed I burn tokens going back and forth with Claude theorizing before a task or refining what’s been completed after because I’m not either providing enough details or Claude is missing contextual info I just assume it will consider (like “this affects three other things please check and see if they are affected by this change too”). My purposed fixed is to use a local solution to theorize and develop a rudimentary solution and prompt that I can feed Claude to cut the back and forth and make sure I’m burning tokens more effectively. Has anyone used something similar? What’s your setup or approach? submitted by /u/hihcadore
