Simply grew to have a crush on a guy friend. I went through the whole obsession phase and p much got over it with time. At some point i heard he figured it out but didn’t do anything about it, so it’s clear he’s not into me that way. Completely fine. However, sometimes he tugs at my heart strings for just being a good friend. Most recent example, when we go out for food, he always pays for me and doesn’t let me pay whenever I offer. It feels very gentlemanly. I feel like I want to tell him like “Hey you know I really like you platonically but you should know I also find you insanely attractive.” I just don’t wanna freak him out, tho I probably will. A crush will fade but if the guy is your type and also your friend it’s pretty hard to ditch it entirely. submitted by /u/ResponsiblePea8914
