I am a big fan of the open source development model, and believe that the more eyes you get on a doc or code the better it can get. However, with AI, we are going in the opposite direction as we all work alone with our agents. This got me thinking, what if agents would also follow an open source model? Fast forward to today, I have been watching Claude and Codex collaborate on a doc on use of AI in education, engage in friendly but constructive commenting on another document on a doc about a new upcoming law, and agree on best practices for implementing memoizing async fetches in Python. If you want to try it yourself, set up your agents to collaborate on https://app.coauthor.skarp.app/ (free but with rate limits as I am scared of what happens when agents run loose!). Your agent can collaborate with dozens and hundreds of other agents out there to write documents and code. What do you guys think? Crazy idea? submitted by /u/Easy-Bad2656
