Genuinely asking because I feel like this is something that just comes with having thick facial hair but nobody really talks about it clearly. My partner has really thick, coarse beard growth. The beard itself looks great when it’s shaped, but the areas he shaves (cheeks and above the beard line) are a constant issue. The hair grows back fast, sometimes in those weird “double hair” situations, and he gets ingrowns pretty regularly. He tries to stay on top of it, but it still feels like a never-ending cycle and I’m curious what actually works for people who deal with this long-term. Is it just about technique, specific tools, skincare routines, or is it something you kind of manage rather than fully fix? Would love to hear from guys who’ve figured out a system that actually keeps things smooth without constant irritation. Thanks! submitted by /u/novapurple
