25F for reference. I saw a post here not long ago and was surprised by the fact that men were surprised that women make the first move. So, what happened when a girl asked you out? While it isn’t the first I’m hearing of it (from exes), it did take me back to read men being genuinely shocked at the prospect. I’m not shy and do prefer men making the first mood but I do get moods when I see a guy and just think “yup. I’m going to have fun with him”. Even if it’s as simple as ‘let’s hang out for the night’ (nonsexually, I don’t do one night stands. No shame to those who do) or boldly asking a guy out to… take me out 🤣 Sometimes men need a hint to make the move and just out right making it is a big helper. I did take a guy out on a date once, paid and everything, because he hadn’t been on a date before and he was sweet and respectful enough that I wanted to do that for him, as friends. submitted by /u/nexalune_goddess
