I’ve got a platonic friendship with a girl (we say we’re siblings because we basically act like ones. We annoy each other and drive each other insane but we’re always there for each other and we don’t have anything romantic going on). We both have romantic partners too and I showed her a picture of earrings i bought for my girlfriend for Valentine’s Day. She said she loves them and then added “I wish my boyfriend gave me earrings—can you ask him? Not in an obvious way, just hint.” So of course that’s what I’ll do, but if he doesn’t get it—or just in general, if I see jewellery that makes me think of her—would it be weird/come across as flurry if i bought her jewellery? (Ofc i wouldn’t give it to her just so, it would be birthday or smth. And i need to see if my money lasts bc my girlfriend has priority) submitted by /u/Just-Marionberry-730
