I started developing a native AI platform to replace a tool we use at work which is bolt-on AI or AI assisted. So essentially a existing SaaS platform that now integrates AI and it SUCKS. It‘s even worse than doing everything manually. When I found out what we paid for that software I decided to start developing my own and try to sell it ad SaaS. I have no coding experience. However, a close relative of mine is running an SaaS company for 10+ years and is all-in to AI assisted codinf for he‘s new products. He taught me how to use Claude Code and GSD. I am really digging myself into it working on it every hour I have and making good progress so far. However, I keep reading online that there is zero chance for people like me. I think the only headstart I have is a) I am a lead user of a traditional software and may see a market gap before some others and b) I can use my relatives company to try and sell the product one I have it. Do you suggest me to keep going teaching myself and try to make it happen or do you say since I am not a developer and there are a gazillion people like me out there that I should just toss the idea and stay with my miserable and boring job and forget about my project? Thanks for your honest judgement. submitted by /u/cannacom
