I’ve asked like 5 people in my real life about this and they think I’m making this up. I asked GPT if this is a known thing and it’s like “not really but also no real research” but this sense is so reliable I’ve use it to navigate sex encounters since I was a teenager. (Doesn’t replace consent but certainly has stopped me a few times) If I kiss or sometimes even just get close enough to a woman who is aroused I can smell it. In fact I can tell when a make out session turns from “having fun making out” to “ok I wanna get laid” in pretty much real time. I can also tell when she’s really not into me. All the women I have ever dated I have experienced this with. When my wife comes up to me and she’s in the mood I can tell before she even kisses me that she’s up for it. I think the smell is mostly on their breath and it smells a bit like morning breath… I’m guessing pheromones because the smell also changes with extreme mood swings or getting their period.
