As a foreigner living in Switzerland, I’ve noticed something funny every Saturday in crowded supermarkets: very often the man is pushing the cart quietly while the woman decides what goes in. The men often look… slightly bored but obedient 😅 Is this just my biased observation? Is grocery shopping traditionally seen as the woman’s domain here? Or is it just efficient division of labor?
