I went back to Opus 4.6 a few days ago and my mental stress/load went down dramatically. Opus 4.6 is helpful and good at communicating/ surfacing what is important, and just handling things that aren’t important. Opus 4.7 on the other hand just can’t make a decision. Even little things like forming sentences that are fluent and read able, or deciding what context to add to the messages so the user knows what it is taking about. It keeps making up it’s own jargon on the fly, and I spend most of my time asking it what the hell it is talking about. If it was a human I would say it’s executive function has severely degraded. It’s like a odd mix of ADHD and Autistic traits. I decided to post after I saw some Meme Post about how 4.7 was just unnerfed 4.6… And I was like “whaaaaaaaaa! surly I’m not the only one seeing this” submitted by /u/theColonel26
