Anthropic rolled this out yesterday and I think it’s getting slept on. The full Claude platform is now available through your existing AWS account. Not Bedrock. The actual Claude API and console, with IAM access control, CloudTrail logging, and consolidated AWS billing. Same-day access for new model releases too. Why this matters from where I sit (enterprise Salesforce + AI work): every client I deal with already has AWS approved through procurement. Getting a standalone Anthropic contract usually takes 4-6 weeks of back-and-forth with legal. This basically removes that step. You spin up Claude the same way you’d spin up any other AWS service. The same-day model availability is the other underrated piece. Bedrock has historically lagged on new Claude releases by weeks, which is rough when you’re trying to ship against the latest version. That gap is gone now. Anyone here already moved workloads off direct Anthropic billing onto this? Curious about pricing parity and whether there are any feature gaps vs the native console. submitted by /u/EvolvinAI29
