I’m an adult female in my 30s trying to make friends online. I’ve submitted a few personal ads for friends, always very clear that I’m not looking for romantic just friends. Most of the people who have replied end up being married men. Not requesting anything flirtatious, but it seems odd to me that a married man would seek put friendship with a woman online. If this was just a couple, I wouldn’t think twice. This is probably half of all chat requests I get are from men who either say their married in the first message or within the first few. So it’s not like they’re hiding it and there’s nothing wrong with it, just seems odd. Opinions? Insight from anyone? submitted by /u/Due_Concert9260
