I bought an annual Claude Pro subscription few weeks ago, largely because I wanted to use Claude Code / claude -p / Agent SDK-style workflows under the Pro subscription limits. Now Anthropic is changing the terms in the middle of my paid billing period. Starting June 15, programmatic usage such as Claude Agent SDK, claude -p , GitHub Actions, and third-party Agent SDK apps will no longer count against the normal Claude Pro usage limits. Instead, Pro users get a separate $20/month credit for this usage. For someone who bought an annual plan expecting those workflows to be included in the subscription limits, this feels like removing or materially downgrading access to a feature I already paid for. I understand changing terms for new subscribers. But applying this to existing annual subscribers mid-term seems unfair. At minimum, annual users should either be grandfathered until the end of their paid period or offered a pro-rated refund. Has anyone received a clear answer from Anthropic support on whether existing annual Pro subscribers will keep the previous terms until renewal? submitted by /u/Wrong_User_Logged
