I (21F) , have a great guy friend. I am probably aroace, I don’t want us to be a couple, because I am incapable of providing him what he might want in a relationship and I don’t want to lose a friend. I’m kinda happy he hangs out with other girls, so I am not the only girl he is friends with. But he wrote to me once, in a “philosophical” dialogue about death that he wishes to die at old age, holding my hand. Am I just overthinking it and we’re such great friends or what should I do? And in case he’s into me like that, what do I do to not hurt his feelings, yet allow him to find a girl that could reciprocate his feelings towards her? He’s genuinely like a brother to me, I love him, but I want him to be happy with someone else… I’m sorry if it’s mean or smth , but I genuinely am incapable of getting romantically involved with people and I’m not trying to “friend zone him, because he’s a nice guy” or anything like that.
