Heads up: claude -p (non-interactive / print mode) will be billed separately from the Pro/Max subscription. That changes the economics of any autonomous setup — cron jobs, CI agents, scheduled loops, multi-agent harnesses. Curious what people are planning: Move to Codex PTY wrapper around interactive claude — drive the subscription session programmatically to stay inside the plan (dangerous?). Switch autonomous workloads to the Anthropic API. Hybrid — interactive for dev, API or local models for the autonomous tier. Self-host open models (Qwen / DeepSeek / GLM) for the loops where quality tolerance is lower. Just shrink autonomous usage — fewer scheduled runs, more on-demand.
