Im 19, never had sex so maybe Im missing something, but it seems obvious that if you want to have sex with your wife or gf and don’t want a child Why aren’t you using contraception ? This being the case for those who then get unexpected positive pregnancy tests and then say he/ she was an accident ? ‘Why didn’t you just wear a condom or take the pill then I’m confused ??’ Is what goes off in my head but maybe im missing something Or DO they use contraception and are these the rare cases it doesn’t work submitted by /u/FrostingNew6219

Because not all contraception works 100%.
“The Pill” may not work depending on a number of factors, like, what she had eaten that day. Condoms rip. Vasectomies might heal without notice.
