So, I tried Claude Code Pro back in February, but the tokens were disappearing way too fast (turns out it wasn’t just in my head). I’ve been using KIMI CODE’s Allegretto plan since then. No big complaints, just some minor nitpicks. My sub ended today, and I’m tempted to go back to Claude. I’m not a super heavy user, but I’m solo-dev’ing a small ERP for my company—basically just me and my AIs. We’re about 80% done, so we’re in the home stretch. For those of you daily-driving Claude: is Pro still worth the money? Or is the token limit still garbage? Also, I’ve been seeing this ‘Caveman’ skill lately. Does it actually save tokens? My concern is that since Claude has to read the skill with every single prompt, wouldn’t the “savings” on the output just get eaten up by the input overhead? What’s the verdict? submitted by /u/Mental_Passion_9583
