Do you usually plan the details of a date as standard, including the first date? I’m used to assertive men who take the lead with plans. I’ve been speaking to someone and he seems nice. We both have traditional values but when we were going to meet, he kept asking me to decide what we do, where we go etc. I called it off and explained I like somebody to take the lead and make plans. He recently got back in touch and apologised asked for another chance. Earlier this week we agreed to meet tomorrow. It’s the day before and we still don’t have a plan and he’s just asked me to pick the restaurant, decide on whose area we meet in etc etc. Am I being unfair to cancel again or say that if he wants to date me then he needs to plan it? As an extra note, know I probably sound entitled, especially to those of you who aren’t traditional minded. But also as women, we have to put more time and effort into our outfit, the way we look etc. In relationships, I’m good at doing a lot of the legwork in communication, nurturing, household tasks etc but this is an area that I like to sit back and enjoy not having to think too much. submitted by /u/Weary_Comparison_928
