So, he has a lot of figure out right now (car issues, not money, but career stuff, etc). He knows I’m interested in him (something I said about him got back to him, yes, I kind of intentionally leaked it),. His response was to say he wanted to ask me out. He has talked about how he’s at least attracted to me, we both have a lot in common and enjoy talking to each other, everyone is shipping us. He’s done some other things recently indicating interest…but isn’t getting my number from me (or from friends at bare minimum). It’s been a couple months of this… I suspect he’s not feeling like he’s in a good place… I don’t really care if he has it altogether-but I guess I just have to be patient bc I can’t really communicate that, it’s not really my place to act on an assumption like that. I definitely can be flirtier-I naturally am flirty and I think that’s what he likes, but I find myself getting pretty nervous-he’s the tall silent type. Advice would be great-how to be calmer around a crush and subtly be more encouraging of a quieter guy pursuing you. submitted by /u/Unicorn1501
