On Claude since its inception. Built our entire stack around it. Today, leadership greenlit the Codex migration that will probably happen at the end of June. A significant portion of the team had already drifted to opencode and Pi using Claude OAuth (I didn’t because I was scared to have the company perma banned because of me), but now Anthropic announced that this is officially over. Anthropic kind of shot themselves in the foot over the past few months: no roadmap clarity, not allowing alternate harnesses for coding, no reason to stay apparently. I will continue with my personal Claude subscription because I really like Opus, but not gonna lie, if I have Codex for free, it’s gonna be difficult to justify, especially if I have to use it in CC. Sad to close this chapter. Anyone else jumped ship after the latest announcement? Curious how Codex is holding up compared to Claude on big projects. submitted by /u/FrenchRevolution2028
