I was heading towards my rate limit way earlier than expected on my max5 plan, so I was auditing my workflow in ways to decrease token usage and get the same results. While auditing it, Opus basically told me that my workflow to get tickets done was based on quality over token cost and I could switch to a claude -p style workflow for orchestration. I revamped my workflow and the next day, Anthropic made that announcement. Now I’m researching how to make my workflow more efficient without violating the ToS and there are tons of people asking how to do this. Anthropic didn’t just target the people trying to abuse things; they targeted everything. They sledgehammered a thing that needed a scalpel. I predict that this will cause MORE people to use autonomous workflows that wouldn’t have considered it because the information is now widespread. What do you guys think? Will more people use autonomous workflows? Did anthropic kick the hornets nest? submitted by /u/Sporebattyl
