I’ve been long distance with the guy for two years and it’s been on and off with his financial situation not being great. I felt like we were both going somewhere and agreed to not give up but one day he said to me he can’t give me any certainty about the future and it feels impossible that he’d ever reach the U.K. I was gutted. He even agreed when I said that maybe he’d find someone in the country he was in. He checked in that I was okay with the whole conversation and not upset and I just moved on - didn’t argue or hesitate. He however then messaged me a couple of days later encouraging me to pray it works between us. I said okay but I slowly began to distance myself from him - distancing myself on socials and blocking him eventually. To this day, he is constantly orbiting social media for my presence (he doesn’t even use social media) I could be deluded and he could be doing it for someone else but he did used to say he would never ever stop trying to reach me. Since I’ve blocked him I don’t expect him to reach out but I feel like he said one thing and is acting completely differently. Before I blocked him, if he saw me on Instagram he would stay online as long as I was online. He’d be checking every hour I was there. When I blocked him in the past he would still be present until I finally unblocked him and gave him another chance. Is this common? submitted by /u/OkVisual6047
