Hi. My parents got divorced when I was in elementary school. My mom dated a fireman for a few years over 10 years ago but since then she’s been single. She lives alone, is a jewelry artist, and rents out her house as an Airbnb in the summer but I know she’s lonely. On the phone today she told me “I’m tired of being alone all the time. I wake up alone and go to bed alone. I just want a companion.” It breaks my heart because I want her to be loved and happy… i cried after our call. I can only do so much though. She lives in northern Michigan, I’ll be home this summer for the entire summer and I want to help her find a man. I just don’t know how to assist. I heard the dating apps are not healthy. I don’t want her to be hurt on them. She deserves a kind, creative, funny man. She’s hilarious, beautiful, she loves the Beatles and any good music, she’s a great mom and she has sacrificed so much for all 3 of her kids. Now it’s her turn to enjoy this next chapter of her life.
