In my project I have a .claude/settings.json . I limited the model usage to “model”: “haiku” . I still see that claude is using opus and sonnet when ever it wants. If I see it, I can intervene, but most of the time I see it only on the bill. This is unacceptable behavior. As example: I was coding half a day on haiku and had a usage of around 15 USD. Now I looked on the usage again and I see Opus usage with 17 USD, literally 1h later. submitted by /u/oqdoawtt
