I’ve been testing out Claude Code today. I’ve been coding with Sonnet 4.6 for maybe 6 or 7 hours max, I just checked my usage and I’m already at 50% of my weekly limit (knowing that the reset were just 20 hours ago). Note that I am on the $200 plan. I’m not doing anything crazy, just standard full-stack development, but it feels like the context window or token consumption is running wild in the background. Is this normal behavior for the CLI tool due to how it pipes terminal context, or is there a known issue/bug with quota calculations right now? Would love to hear if anyone else is hitting the wall this quickly. submitted by /u/hey_liot
