It’s tough to talk about this without seeming conceited… but I’ve held several positions in the professional sector and it’s very common that at least a couple people start to try and “flirt” and gain interest in me. I’m conventionally fairly attractive (used to model a bit) Now I don’t feed into it, and it’s always been harmless… but it’s also always been with people over the age of 18 (hiring laws and practices have age requirements). Like I said, nothings ever been a real issue. But I’ve just accepted a position as an administrator at a large high school, and I was wondering how some of you navigate these situations… it’s so touchy (as it should be) that I’m afraid that even handled appropriately, it still can result in an unfortunate situation.
